How To Find A Real Estate Agent

I’m a real estate investor working my own business and a mentor for the Real Estate Profit Coach. I travel the country teaching at educational seminars. I also work with our students on-site and assist them in building their real estate business.

One common problem I've encountered in every area of the country is finding a real estate agent that understands real estate investors. For real estate investors just starting out and wanting to build their team and don’t know where to start, here is an easy and quick way to find a real estate agent in your market:

Go to Realtor.com. Click on the Find a Realtor link on the right side of the page.

Enter in the city and state of your target area and click search. A new screen will be brought up and you can further narrow your search if desired. Perhaps you only want real estate agents that advertise they work with investors, or REO specialists. Put the specialty you are looking for into the Keyword Search area and click on search.

A randomly selected batch of up to 500 realtors will be displayed. Most will state their field of expertise in their description.

Select the realtor you wish to contact, and click on the “Send Email” button.

Complete the email submission form and click on the send button.

If you have a prefill software such as Google auto-fill, you can easily replicate the information on the email submission form, and easily email hundreds of realtors with minimal effort!

I emailed approximately 152 realtors in my target area of Las Vegas in about an hour. I received several responses, some realtors that did not understand what a real estate investor needs, and some good realtors that understood what I need and immediately began sending me property and area information.
